It is difficult to come across a list
of the Pashas of Buda, and I have yet to find one in English. Below you will find a list of the Pashas of Buda during
the sixteenth century.1
Frequent changes in power were necessitated by political instability,
assassinations, and a need for military prowess. As you will see, many Pashas served multiple times.
